For our main office in Rijswijk (the Netherlands), our Sales Trading Europe department is looking for a:



Sales Trading Employee

Fulltime - 40 hours per week
Starting date: as soon as possible



In this position you will be responsible for all client productions in the Far East. This includes products that are produced specifically for the customer, meaning that customers can order custom-made products. They can customize the product with their own logo, determine the color and/or add their own packaging. These products will not be first stored in a warehouse.

As a Sales Trading Employee you will build up and maintain customer relations, calculate, enter and follow-up on Projects. You pay attention to the needs of the customer and try to fulfill these within the possible opportunities. We value initiative and encourage creative solutions. In this position, you will also be doing sales, cross-selling and proactive calling. Negotiating with our factories is also very important in this role. This includes negotiating about prices, but also about conditions.

You work together with your team, the Product Development department, the Supply Chain department, the factories in China and with our colleagues within our printing facility in Romania. You will also be in direct contact with the customer. Together with your team, you are responsible for achieving the set sales targets.

At certain times of the year, fairs will be held for the promotional products industry. If needed, you will also attend these fairs.

What are the qualities and skills we are looking for?
• Level of education: Bachelor
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
• Knowledge of an additional language, preferably French, is a plus
• Some work experience in trading or similar position
• Experience with MS Office and preferably with ERP systems
• Commercial mindset
• Organization skills
• Creative, problem solving and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently as well as being a team player
• Service- and customer oriented, committed, flexible, reliable
