Product Manager Textile

Location: The Hague, Rijswijk.

Created in 1986, Xindao is a Dutch fast-growing company that is specialized in providing B2B gifts. Our headquarter with 100+ employees is located in Rijswijk. However, our scope has crossed multiple borders and we are serving clients within Europe.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have achieved to maintain our position as a leading supplier in sustainable gifts. With the support of our 100+ employees, we have maintained our double-digit growth, reaching nearly €120M.

Our objective is to combine sustainability, quality and design. We believe that business gifts can be respectful towards our planet and the people; we aim to use genuine recycled materials with a tracer and verification by block chain.

With innovation & sustainability being one of our pillars, we continuously aim to improve and to pursue greater ambitions. We aspire to further expand our products range and growth. To succeed in this mission, we are seeking a:

Product Manager Textile (full-time)

What you will be doing?
• Responsible for creating the most sustainable textile line/brand in our industry.
• Travel intensively to the Far East to maintain a good relationship with makers and to source new makers.
• Positioning a new brand in terms of marketing, communication and photography.
• Drive the collection plan for your product range and implement the right product mix to maximize the business.
• Lead the launch of each collection, working across all teams; design, production, communication and sales teams to ensure deadlines are met.
• Presenting the range during the seasonal sales meetings.
• Proactively develop strategies and feature ideas to improve products plans based on business goals and KPIs.

What are the qualities and skills we are looking for?
• You have a bachelor’s or university degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the textile industry (retail or B2B) as a product manager.
• Knowledge in the textile industry is required.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.
• You have a strong awareness of the challenges in sustainable development.
• Strong communication skills as well as problem solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Good feeling for branding, positioning and collection building.
• Great multitasking skills and capabilities to ensure deadlines.
