1st Line Helpdesk Employee
Fulltime – 40 hours

The ICT team counts four colleagues and consists of a Business Applications and ICT Infrastructure & Operations team. The ICT Infrastructure & Operations team is responsible for our own data center in Rijswijk and provides a complete range of ICT services for approximately 200 users spread over Europe and China. Beside the heart of our Business application environment, the ICT Infra and Operations team takes full operational and technical responsibility for the complete back-end environment. This back-end contains environments like, Citrix, SQL, Windows server (with Hyper-V and ESX as virtual server environments) and the complete network infrastructure.

As a 1st Line Helpdesk Employee you will be part of the ICT Infrastructure & Operations team, being the first point of contact for all IT related issues. You will provide first line support to colleagues in the Netherlands, our EU offices and China.

What you will be doing:
• Providing 1st line support in solving IT-related issues: call logging and handling of support tickets (TOPdesk)
• Provide remote support for our offices abroad
• Assisting with the technical ‘onboarding’ of new employees, arranging all necessary IT equipment, such as laptops, desktops, mobile devices, etc. The same goes for the ‘’offboarding’’ of employees
• Investigating, troubleshooting and resolving software/hardware issues
• Installing software and upgrades
• Maintaining printers
• Active Directory administration
• Documentation of IT processes & procedures
• Running standby service every 3-4 weeks (for 1 week)

What we are looking for:
• Degree in ICT at MBO-level
• Preferably some related work experience (via work experience or internship)
• Good overall knowledge of Windows 10 & MS Office 2016 / 19
• Familiar with iOS and Android mobile devices
• Fluency in Dutch, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
• Excellent communication skills, approachable and customer service driven
• Self-starter, team-player and able to prioritize tasks
